Frequently Asked Questions

General

Can I alternate and have you clean a different bin each month?

No. Each Container has its own identification and will be cleaned each service cycle.

For Monthly Service subscriptions, when Immaculate Bins shows up to service your account and there are more bin(s)/dumpster(s) that are identical/same type at your service address, than is on your current subscription, we will clean the additional bin(s)/dumpster(s). You also agree to pay the difference using your current payment method in addition to adding the bin(s)/dumpster(s) to your service subscription in prevention of customers swapping/rotating like bins.

Can I have my bins cleaned once instead of monthly?

Yes, you can. However, households are best served when signed up for regular quarterly or annually service. One time and first-time cleanings take considerably longer than subsequent “maintenance” cleanings and we price accordingly. In addition, it will not take long before those bins are dirty again.

Can I pay for someone else’s/neighbor’s bin cleaning service?

Yes. As long as it is understood that it will not be considered as an additional charge on your subscription/one time order. We would need the name and service address where the bin(s) belong to appropriately add them to your account. Or you can add them yourself (See FAQ How to add another service address to my account). Only one (1) subscription/one time cleaning per service address. If it is discovered that there are bin(s) that do not belong to the service address, the customer will be appropriately billed retroactive for the additional bin(s) that were previously serviced. The resident the additional bin(s) belong to will have to sign up for their own service if they would like to continue having their bin(s) cleaned.

Do you offer commercial service?

How does Immaculate Bins work?

Except for Friday, our routes are designed to service the day after your trash is collected. This allows your trash hauler to do their job without affecting your scheduled cleaning. (Bin(s) emptied on Friday will be cleaned the same day unless there are unforeseen delays by your trash hauler). The strategy behind this, is to operate at the most efficient level of service and eliminating wasted time in between service cleanings when there are unforeseen collection delays from the trash hauler.

You will need to ensure your bins remain empty until they are serviced! If they are not empty, they will not be serviced.

Immaculate Bins will load your empty bins into our state-of-the-art-cleaning hopper that will clean and deodorize your trash bins, leaving them smelling fresh. We use high pressure and extreme heat while adding biodegradable detergents.

How often do you come to clean my bin(s)?

One Time: Cleanings occur one time only.

Monthly Subscription: Cleanings occur once a month, every month, for your convenience. *

*Additional cleanings can be arranged within the month. Please contact our residential services by phone (618-680-0159) or email (Info@immaculatebins.com) to arrange this service option.

What are my Responsibilities?

24 Hours’ Notice: If you fail to notify Immaculate Bins (BSC) within 24 hours of your scheduled service cleaning and we show up to provide the service, unfortunately, your account cannot be credited. If you would like to still have service for the month, simply notify Immaculate Bins and make arrangements to pay the service return fee (mileage). Then you will be rescheduled for your service cleaning on the next available cleaning day that your bins will be completely empty.

For Immaculate Bins to provide its service, YOU MUST ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS or service could be interrupted, skipped, or postponed:

  • Bin(s) must be curbside and easily accessible to service technicians on scheduled service day. (If your bin(s) are not curbside without prior arrangements with BSC, see above 24 hours’ notice statement).

  • Bin(s) must be free of UNBAGGED Human or Animal waste (No Exceptions). Please ensure all fecal matter is bagged and collected by the garbage hauler.

  • Bin(s) must be free of cooking / motor oils.

  • Bin(s) must be free of chemicals, fresh paint, glue or other adhesive, or hazardous waste of any kind.

  • Bin(s) must be free of building materials, e.g. plaster, stucco or concrete.

  • Bin(s) must be completely empty. (With the exception of small, tiny scraps stuck at the bottom).

  • Bin(s) must not have additional trash, recycling, and or yard debris added after your bin(s) have been collected by the garbage hauler. (Your bin(s) will not be serviced without prior arrangements).

What is Immaculate Bins?

We are an Eco-Friendly Community Based Trash Can, Recycling, and Yard/Organic Bin Cleaning Service.

We clean and deodorize outdoor Trash, Recycling, & Yard Bins.

Why use Immaculate Bins instead of cleaning my own bins?

It is against most state law to pour the wastewater from cleaning your bins into the storm drains.

Just using a hose and broom to clean your trash and recycle bins is not sufficient to truly get your bins cleaned and remove the smell and odors that are present.

Cleaning Process

Can you remove paint or other dried materials from inside my bin?

Paint, tar, and other adhesives are extremely difficult to remove and may not come off. We will do our best to remove these problem areas as best we can. Cans that have not been washed in several years may also require a few more cleanings before these problem areas are broken up and removed. Please remember… if you have newer cans, they are sure to look brand new after cleaning. If your cans are several years old, they will be clean but may have the “worn look” still present. Please be reasonable. Although we cannot take a can that is 20 years old and make it look brand new, it will be cleaned and deodorized. Bins with unbagged pet waste WILL NOT be cleaned due to contamination of the equipment and health hazard to our employees. We take great pride in offering this new and unique service

Do you offer commercial service?

Yes, please call or email with your requests to be scheduled for a free Consultation and Custom Quote.

How long do I need to leave my bin at the curb?

Please be sure to leave your empty bin(s) (No unbagged animal/human waste) curbside until they are serviced (between 7am – 7pm). You will see our branded tape on the lid(s) to indicate the technician is finished.

Our service staff will pull the bins out of the street and leave them in your driveway.

How much water does Immaculate Bins use to clean one bin?

One bin takes between three and five gallons of water depending on the condition of the can. If you were to clean your own can using a hose, you could easily waste fifteen gallons or more. Immaculate Bins can safely clean up to five cans with the same amount of water a homeowner typically uses to clean one can.

How will I know if my bin was cleaned?

You mean besides the fact that they look and smell fresh? We will apply an Immaculate Bins branded logo strip or blue tape on the lid of your bin and text you an image (if opted in for text messaging) after it is cleaned.

Is the bin cleaning process safe for the environment?

Yes. Our state-of-the-art vehicles have an automated cleaning process that consists of solutions that are eco-friendly and biodegradable to remove dirt, mold, food, and other yuk from your trash bins! It cleans your trash bins in seconds, removing grime and odors – Keeping your newly cleaned trash bins from being a fly and pest magnets, especially if you keep your bins in your garage!

Additionally, since all our waste is recovered, there is virtually none left behind. We Leave Your Bins Immaculate, It’s Ridiculous!

What happens to the dirty water after you clean my bin?

All waste is collected and properly disposed of in designated sewage systems outlined by Local Government ordinances and Waste treatment facilities.

You have cleaned my trash bin, but it is not fully clean. Why is this?

We have found that some of the trash and recycle bins we clean can take a few cleaning cycles to remove the grime that has built up over time. We’ll make every effort to clean your bin to the highest standards, and in time, we have found that our Cleaning System will remove the most stubborn grime. In the meantime, Immaculate Bins has eliminated the odors and germs in your bins.

Scheduling

How do you determine my service schedule?

There are two days in each month dispatch will assign and schedule you to the most efficient route, based on the type of bins you are having cleaned. We use a Text Message (SMS/MMS) and email notification systems, because we do not want to complicate the process by having our customers guess when their service cleaning is scheduled. When you are assigned to a route, you will be notified the week of or before the scheduled cleaning, which is why we encouraged opting into text messaging and or providing us with an email address you check frequently upon subscribing.

Your service schedule will have some inconsistencies due to the demand, vacations, holidays, 5 weeks in the month, dispatch scheduling and nature of the business. You may be originally scheduled for Thursdays (for example) and could be moved to Fridays at a later date, if the demand in your area shifts. We will not schedule your cleanings less than 2 weeks apart; however, it may not be a full month in-between cleaning either. It is our intent to service each customer in the most convenient and efficient manner; however, there are things that will come up that may alter the scheduling. You do have the option of logging in to your account and checking the notes section of your subscription to see if you have been scheduled for the current month.

What if I’m going to be away and can’t put my bin out for cleaning?

Relax, we got you covered! Simply call or email us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled cleaning day and we will credit you for that month by adding it to the back end of your service, skip your cleaning and see you the following month. Unfortunately, if you don’t notify us within 24 hours and we show up to provide the service, your account cannot be credited.

What if my bin(s) weren’t emptied or collected when you arrive?

If your bin(s) have additional trash, recycling, and or yard debris after your bin(s) have been collected by the garbage hauler, your bin(s) will not be serviced. Unfortunately, your account cannot be credited. If you would like to still have service for the month, simply notify Immaculate Bins and make arrangements to pay the service return fee (mileage). Then you will be rescheduled for your service cleaning on the next available service cleaning day that your bins will be completely empty.

If your bin(s) are not collected by the garbage hauler until late in the day, our service technician will either make an attempt to return, and or notify dispatch to see if you can be rescheduled for the following service cleaning day. (In this case, please return them to the curbside the following morning).

When will you come to clean my bin?

Except for Friday, our routes are designed to service the day after your trash is collected. This allows your trash hauler to do their job without affecting your scheduled cleaning.

(Bin(s) emptied on Friday will be cleaned same day unless there are unforeseen delays by your trash hauler).

Billing

Can I pay for multiple addresses I own under one account?

How can I cancel my Immaculate Bins subscription?

Keep in mind, your service is recurrently charged, based upon your service schedule to the authorized credit card. You may opt out of future recurring charges at any time, as long as notice is received before the next billing date of your most recent sign-up by canceling via email at info@immaculatebins.com. Although there are no contracts, in-order to completely cancel your subscription, we ask that you give us at least a 30-day notice in writing. If you are not satisfied with the service, call us immediately to give us an opportunity to make it right!

When will I be charged for my service?

This is a pay in advance service. You will see a charge in the amount of the service option you’ve selected with the name of Immaculate Bins on your statement. All plans will be charged for the next service after completion of a scheduled service. You can view your scheduled service under your Job Visits.
